Our Story - From Breakthrough to Lithium Revolution
Lithium Harvest was founded in 2020 out of a clear need for a more sustainable and faster way to produce lithium battery compounds. But the real origin of our solution goes back to 2012.
That year, we made a remarkable discovery during a pilot project with a leading oil and gas company. Produced water - once dismissed as industrial waste filled with oil, organics, solids, and chemicals - held something unexpected: valuable minerals, including lithium.
That insight sparked our mission. We set out to completely rethink lithium extraction by recovering critical minerals from wastewater. After years of research and relentless innovation, that vision became our patented lithium extraction solution.
Backed by over two decades of industrial water treatment expertise, our leadership team has developed cutting-edge technologies installed in more than 400 large-scale systems worldwide. We didn’t just build a new process but a new way of thinking about sustainability, value, and impact.
